See the Adopted Turtles and Their Parents' ListAdopt a Turtle

Now you can "adopt a turtle," and for only $50, you can contribute to that turtle's rehabilitation. When that turtle is released, you will be able to track the turtle online and know that you helped to make him/her healthy enough to go back home! Or, you can adopt a turtle that has already been release, helping to pay for the research we are conducting so we can help sea turtles all over the world!

Cost: $50.00**

**Adoptions do not include general or unlimited admission to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center.

OPTION #1= Current patients:

  1. Official Certificate of Adoption
  2. Letter from your turtle
  3. 5 x 7 photo of your turtle
  4. Name displayed on website adoption page
  5. Bi-weekly Update and photo (via email-pdf) until turtle is released or turtle has expires
  6. Notice of potential release date (when applicable/as available)
    *Entrance to the VIP area at the release (if applicable) is no longer available.
  7. Final email with tracking link (when/if available) and photo from release

 





 


OPTION #2 = Successfully released turtles with a satellite transmitter
  1. Official Certificate of Adoption
  2. Letter from your turtle
  3. 5 x 7 picture of your turtle
  4. Name displayed on website adoption page
  5. Link to satellite tracking

Adopt Bevelyn the Turtle(Bevelyn is not adoptable anymore because she stopped transmitting a signal on May 29th. It is likely either the unit was dislodged or the battery expired (during nesting, it is constantly sending a signal so the battery can easily be worn out very quickl . . . especially if she nests multiple times)!
