Diamondback Terrapin Research Project

Diamondback Terrapin Research Project

Hundreds of diamondback terrapins are killed or injured each year by motor vehicles on the Jekyll Island Causeway. The Jekyll Island Foundaton needs your help to fund a $50,000 cooperative Georgia Sea Turtle Center/University of Georgia diamondback terrapin conservation, research, management and education program on Jekyll Island. We need YOU to help give our children and grandchildren the same opportunity. Please help us ensure our diamondback terrapins survive by making a tax-deductible donation TODAY!

Sea Turtle Center Operations

Sea Turtle Center Operations

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center does very important work, but sometimes it is very expensive work! Now and then we will need a certain piece of equipment that might take many people banding together to raise the money to get it. You can help support our efforts by directing your donation directly toward the equipment, allowing us to acquire it faster to help the turtles! You can donate $25 up to $1000 online.
